" No Jail Can Confine Your Pomes" Published !

The book "No Jail Can Confine Your Pomes " is a collection of protest poems written by poets from different parts of the world. These poems are a strong response against censorship and the suppression of poetry and art in Afghanistan. It shows support for Afghan poets and resistance against these actions. The collection is created by Baamdaad - House of Poetry in Exile.

This collection was published in Japan today, August 15th, on the second anniversary of the fall of Afghanistan to the hands of the Taliban. which has already taken the first rank in Amazon Japan.

After the Taliban imposed strict rules on poetry in Afghanistan on January 15, 2023, Baamdaad asked poets worldwide to join in. They wanted poets to speak out against what was happening in Afghanistan. In response, 110 poets from many countries like Japan, France, America, Italy, and others sent in poems in different languages.

The first collection, "No One Can Imprison Poetry," has 50 different poems by different poets. Some of these poems are now available in Japanese in Japan, both as printed books and digital versions on Amazon Japan.

The next collection of these poems will be released in France in November. Baamdaad - House of Poetry in Exile thanks all the poets who took part in this protest by sharing their words. Together, we keep fighting for a world with freedom. This movement shows how people from all around the world come together against cruelty, unfairness, violence, and injustice.
